The Cartwrights: September 8th, 2017 at The Plummer House, Rochester MN

Jess and Christiaan. I knew I would love these two from the very beginning. Well, I actually met with Jess and her mom, Tomomi, so I figured worse case, I would love the bride and mother-of-the-bride. But of course, it turns out that the couple and both of their families are wonderful.

There's a lot of things I like about this couple, but my favorite quality is that they cherish their family and friends. Their wedding day was special for them, but even more importantly, they put emphasis on the ones they cherish most. It was incredible to see how many people traveled from all over the world (seriously, ALL over) to spend the day with Jess and Christiaan, but not surprising.

As soon as we left this wedding, I turned to my assistant and said, "I feel a little sad." The feeling of sadness was genuine and only because I really came to love these two.
