I always try my hardest to bring out the best and happiest emotions of children when I'm photographing. Sometimes, though, the kid is just so unbelievably happy that I don't have to work very hard. I would say the hardest part about photographing Madalyn was keeping up with her fast running. Otherwise, pulling smiles was close to effortless. But of course she's happy--look at how loved she is <3
Taryn and Tom decided to celebrate their engagement with a family photo session and I'm so happy they did! I enjoyed spending a little time with these four and especially loved hearing all of the giggles from Maddy and Audrey.
I spent part of my day photographing Santa and his little friends and now I'm finishing up these sweet family photos. Santa and all of this red and green has me so excited for Christmas, but WHERE IS THE SNOW!? I love snow and I want some. Thanks for listening.
We planned the Frank family photos around Morrie's 1st birthday so that we could do a little cake smash at the end of the session. It was cold and there were some sensitive feelings happening. We attempted the cake smash outside, but Morrie's poor hands were a little too cold. So, we took a break and decided to finish the session in the back of the family car. There really is a first for everything! As we were wrapping up the shoot Jeremy said something along the lines of, "Well, you'll never forget us!" And that's so true. I will never forget this family. Not because of the cold or the cake smash in the back of their vehicle. I'll remember them because they're rockstar parents who had a sense of humor throughout the entire shoot. They are my kind of people. Enjoy these images of the wonderful Frank family.
Editing through a photo session can be tricky for different reasons. Sometimes things like drool happen and I spend hours fixing it in post production. In this case, I spent forever scrolling back and forth because Charlotte was soooo smiley! I truly had a hard time picking my favorites because she was happy in almost all of her shots. That's my favorite kind of editing <3
There's nothing better than holding a newborn. I probably offered a to hold Mara a few too many times, but I have no shame. I loved holding and photographing Mara. Even more, I loved watching her siblings interact with her. There's nothing better than having your siblings as friends <3
